Pay it Forward is about young student Trevor. He receives a remarkable new assignment from his social studies teacher: think of a way to improve the world. He takes this very seriously. Trevor comes up with a plan in which everyone has to do a good deed for three people, who in turn have to do that for three others. At first glance, the idea seems to fail until it appears that he has initiated a whole movement in which people contribute to a better world.
